Re-Thread @ The Shed
The WasteShed X Chicago Textile Center
Community Quilt Fundraiser
Support local textile reuse in Chicago by joining our quilting bee!
The Wasteshed and Chicago Textile Center are teaming up to raise money for our organizations by hosting a community quilt fundraising bee. Help us make a scrappy quilt with 100% reclaimed textiles and support local arts orgs in the process!
All About Re-Thread at
The shed
Re-Thread @ the Shed is a community fundraiser for two Chicagoland organizations that are connected by their shared commitment to creative reuse, skill sharing, and textile arts & crafts. The goal of the Re-Thread Bee is to bring together both the WasteShed and CTC’s creative communities to celebrate and raise money and continue doing the work we do!
We’ll be quilting the squares from this project together at the Re-Thread Bee on November 16th from 1-4 at The WasteShed Chicago!
You are welcome to attend the event even if you don’t make a quilt square! Purchase a ticket here!
