The "Free to Teachers" program at The WasteShed provides educators with access to a designated section of our store where a percentage of materials are offered at no cost. Available at both our Evanston and Humboldt Park locations, this area is stocked with school supplies, office materials, educational resources, and surplus items for classroom use. This initiative supports teachers by reducing their out-of-pocket expenses and enhances educational environments with creative, sustainable materials. Serving over 250 schools and nonprofits across the Chicagoland area, the program is a testament to our commitment to community support and resource sharing.
